The first secret is located on the large Viaduct Bridge connecting the Great Hall to the Library Annex. To solve this puzzle, players must use fire spells like Incendio or Confringo to light four separate braziers situated along the bridge. Once lit, each brazier becomes interactive and can be rotated to display a specific number.
By matching the Roman numerals under each brazier to the corresponding symbols on the circular metal grate at the end of the bridge, the hatch will unlock. Descending into the newly opened passage allows you to loot two reward chests. Completing this first objective marks immediate progress toward the Hogwarts Secrets challenge.
Stopping the Clock Tower Pendulum
The second secret centers around the massive swinging pendulum inside the Clock Tower Courtyard.
